Classroom of the Future: The New Way to Teach Kids

I learned that in today's classrooms, technololgy is one of the main methods of teaching.I think my knowledge of technology is pretty basic compare to that teachers have to incooperate in their classrooms.Teachers have to know about technology themselves in order to carry out certain lesson plans and  curriculum.Student being able to use their smartphones in the classroom, to me was a wonderful idea.I feel like at  the pace that technology is going, so many students won't be left behind.

Students have to be able to use technology at a well advance pace in their classrooms. It is very important that they learn how to do this by a certain grade level.Teachers can use that method t o see their student's efforts and needs in the classroom.I think it is a great way to help the students that are falling behind in their school work.I learn that half of the U.S population were using electronic.I think it a good thing that they are getting the opportunity to explore other things besides textebooks. As teachers we need to develop different ways to teach.I don't see anything wrong with having students and use their mobile devices to develop a lesson plan to meet their students' needs.Three concepts that came to mind were teachers being trained more to teach technological based courses, younger children being able to use technology as an advancement and digital identity, which is a system developed baded on your needs. It engages students in the curriculum more.I wish that option was offered to me in my younger years,

In conclusion, I know technology is not going anywhere, if anything it will only advance in the couple of years. So, in my opinion we just need to encourage it more so our children don't get left behind.I saw on some of my school visits that there was kindergarteners already using technology to locate books and do research. I know we have come a long way.Another idea that I like was idea B.Y.O.D.It allowed students to bring their own devices to school. To me, that is a smart,money-saving idea.

  1. Yay! You got your first post on your first blog!! :) Congratulations

The points that resonated with you are good ones - ones that you'll likely build upon over the semester's time. Nice job on your reflective writing - a skill that you will further develop as you get some additional posts on this blog. You also did an awesome job in finding a relevant video - excellent!

The things to work on for the next blog post: 1) You definitely need to add your Resource section with all of the resources used for this reflection post, i.e., textbook and in this case, YouTube video - put them in APA citation style 2) Try adding a Creative Commons licensed photo to provide more visual to your blog - it is tough to just read text these days of multimedia. :)

Overall, a great first post - keep up the good work. :)
